Just got these small guys at present. They are a beneficial sized heli for indoor use, a bit larger than I thought they would be (thankfully) I believe they are great fun and very nicely built. The main reason I decide on these was the advantage of replacement parts for the stuff that you typically end up break although you are mastering to fly. The thought of two was to be able to have two of us playing at the similar time. The difficulty is each of the heli's that came to me are on the channel and I cannot locate anyway to change the heli itself. Though slightly enjoyable to try to make both of the heli's fly with the same control, it doesn't really perform. Though each choppers work especially well right out of the box (after a brief charging time), they just can not be flown at the very same time. The webpage does say that the they could possibly have several frequencys but you would assume that since they are selling two together that they would make certain to package two that can fly at the exact same time. This indicates to most people that you can quickly fly a single til it begins to get low on power, shut it off and fly the other 1 for awhile. I received these Helicopters a few days ago. Flew each of them suitable out of the box. Had difficulties with the second Heli findig the frequency at to begin with. Each remotes had been set to various frequencies. They ultimately worked following a series of cycling the power of both the controller and the heli.
After two complete flights of the YELLOW helicopter, the lower blade stopped rotating. I took a really good appear at how everything is supposed to function on the red heli and determined there was a manufacturing defect on the yellow 1. The drive gear for the forward motor was placed too high on the shaft. The initially tiny bump shifted the drive gear just adequate to knock it out of alignment and hence couldnt drive the propeller shaft gears. I took the heli apart simple sufficient and slid the drive gear down into the appropriate position. Reassembled and as good or superior than new. Just a note, if you do disassemble, make confident you do so on a table or some thing. It's a pain attempting to locate one of those little screws in carpet.
I have had up to 8-10 minutes of flight chasing my dog keeping the helicopter a foot off the floor. How considerably turning and how high you fly will extend or shorten your flight time. I obtain I am about half throttle most of the time.
All in all these are enjoyable little helicopters and I can't wait to move into the larger helicopter categories.
