I have had this for 24 hours, crashed it into the roof, a tree, my dog, my girlfriend and numerous pieces of furniture! This thing is Durable! Thick plastic pivot blades, a thick plastic nose shell and a Aluminum skeleton.
It takes about 30min to charge from a totally dead battery with a proprietary charger and flies for about 10 minutes outdoors and 15 minutes indoors. It can fly it 1 - two mph wind outdoors but for the reason that it does not pitch a lot (possibly 5 degrees in both directions) you are seriously just chasing it as it goes in the direction of the wind.
The Gyro is not a joke it actually certainly functions, yawing the unit by hand you can really feel the individual blades slow to compensate and stabilize. Outdoors it seriously shows how properly it assists keep the unit level. The control has a trim knob to maintain the unit from spinning though hovering.
The controller itself feels seriously inexpensive and the decals placed on it are off center to a point exactly where it was inhibiting the trim knob and needed me to remove it.
So the only two true complaints about this RC is the lack of Forward and Reverse maneuverability, and the good quality of the controller. Otherwise properly worth $40, possibly my dog and Girlfriend will cease hiding soon :)

When i bouught this item for the initial time, it did not perform, but the Deron from BASAL enterprises was amazing. I sent an e-mail explaining the challenge, he known as me immediately and send me the return voucher to send the product back. The amazing client service is that he did not wait for the broken product to get back to him. He did ship a replacement for me on the exact same day i was sending the damaged 1 back to him. replacement came in withing three days appropriate in time for my 8 year old's birthday. My son loves this one, they have been flying in indoors and outdoors. it functions wonderful, possibly it might have went up to 100 feet in air. Ordered one particular a great deal more from Deron
