This is a good kit for anybody with a Syma S107G. I have utilized three of the components in the kit so far: Two rotor blades and the vertical tail fin. My top two rotors had been receiving battered from crashing into almost everything from doorways to dinner tables. After a variety of rough landings the vertical tail fin snapped, as it touches the ground when you land. That had happened to my very first Syma S107G, when I did not have a repair kit. That does not affect flying, but it does take away some of the heli's "cool factor". Overall, this is a amazing kit, and if I had a different Syma I would surely purchase this item once again.
1 complaint: the screws are TINY and extremely frustrating to handle. A single of mine got lost INSIDE the helicopter and I had to get it out with tweezers. This item got 4 stars for becoming educational simply because it teaches you to have steady hands and preserve your cool throughout a tense situation.
Components are equivalent, but not rather the similar. I bought this package simply because I had a broken tail. The clip that attaches to the tail isn't the very same and will allow the tail to move and spin freely, forcing me to cease and set it back up straight just about every time it moves out of place. For me this is a main discomfort and ruins the complete set! Like other reviewers have said, the balance bar isn't the similar either.
