Customer Critiques

I ordered this helicopter along with 3 other helicopters. 3 from Syma and a single off brand helicopter. I ordered several helicopters due to the fact the only ones I have flown have been 2 channel and if 1 broke I would have backup. I ordered the Syma S107 and S105 at the exact same time, and the S107 arrived initial and the S105 arrived the subsequent day. On my frist flight of the S107 I was suprised how stable and smooth the flight was. The box says 14 and up but I assume anybody could manage this helicopter. It goes up, down, left, proper, forward, and backwards, all at a balanced speed thats excellent for indoor flight. It is not as well slow to be boring or also rapidly that you can't controll it. The trim button on the controller is pretty substantially not essential because it does not spin out of manage. I nevertheless havnt adjusted the trim following about 20 flights. Also, both Syma helicopters are Incredibly durable due to the fact they are created of metal and hard plastic. The blades are also durable. There are some differences in the S107 and S105. The S105 is slightly wider and slightly longer. It also has two LED lights on every single side and one in the front, a total of 6, which can be cool or annoying, it just depends on preference. The s107 has a single light on the front. The S105 seems to spin out a lot more than the S107 and is extra tricky to trim. This is an obvious flaw that was addressed with the newer S107, simply because it does not spin out at all. They each can be charged with the controller or via a USB port on your laptop which is fantastic if you do not want to waste your batteries on your controller. They each use 6 AA batteries in the controller. Each helicopters are tremendously durable and have been crashed a variety of occasions. My only complaint with them is the flight time is only around five minutes, despite the fact that I do not have something to compare it to for the reason that the other two helicopters I ordered are still not right here but after about a week and a half. Also, the only solution for shipping is standard shipping. General I would advise the S107 more than the S105 given that of the trim issue with the S105, but each are excellent helicopters and they are a particularly very good price.

The Syma S107 is so quick to manage that on my initially flight I had it tour my whole apartment, zooming in and out of closets and by no means touching an obstacle until I deliberately landed it. If you've under no circumstances flown a fantastic RC heli before, you might want to practice a bit. It may possibly be your second or third flight prior to you get that excellent.
The S107 is truly that uncomplicated to manage.
I am positive that a number of of you have played with Air Hogs and other micro helis and you extended for a small heli that just plain flies where you want it to fly and stays up in the air. I'm right here to tell you that such perfection is within your grasp.
Ahead of I got my S107, I currently owned two Syma S105s and I by no means get tired of flying them. They appear virtually identical to the S107 and the remote is identical, but they take a tiny bit of ability to fly with precision and I've made little tweaks here and there to get greater control.
The S107 takes just about no ability to fly. They gyro tends to make it laughably hassle-free to manage. Just use it indoors, get it about four feet off the ground so that ground-effects don't mess with it, fly it a decent distance from air conditioning vents and the point moves like it's hanging from a string on a stick.
That perfection is, maybe, its one big flaw.
The issue is, I believe the S105 is a bit alot more enjoyable to play with. The S105 demands cautious trimming at the starting of each and every flight. The S105 tends to make broad turns, but pulls out sharply, risking blade-strikes, unexpected modifications in direction and the occasional crash. It really is incredibly simple to fly the S105, but even so every time that I fly 1 I grow additional skillful with it.
The S107 just plain operates. It goes where I point it.
I made one tiny change to my S107, taping a paperclip to the front to aid it move forward alot more effortlessly. That's the sum of all modifications that I created to mine. I cannot discover anything else to tweak. That's awesome. It is incredible. It's a enjoyable thing to play with and the feeling of exhilaration endures even right after quite a few flights.
I heartily recommend this heli.
...But if you want a related heli that is similarly extraordinary yet introduces a smidgen of challenge to each and every flight, look at the S105 as nicely.
