Consumer Critiques

I have a smaller squadron of mini helicopters and this a single is by far the finest so far. I read amazing critiques of the Syma S107. I was fairly pleased with it compared to some of the older Syma models. Then I saw the positive critiques for this and thought I would give it a go. It flies incredibly well! Quiter than the other seven helicopters I have and so stable, smooth, and responsive. It is a little slow with forward and reverse momentum, but not poor. Slow is a lot easier to manage...perhaps that was intentional. We fly these every day in the workplace and this hands down outperforms everthing else.
For those comparing models, right here you go:
Syma S109 Apache- Great
Syma S105G (Sport Helicopter) Pretty Really good -Fastest, stable, but somewhat loud, durable metal frame
Syma S107G- (Sport Helicopter) Pretty good- nearly identical to S105 but a small slower, unique scheme, older?
Syma S026 Chinook- Looks cool, flies ok, but difficult to manage. Too a lot power for its weight 'Cieling magnet'
Syma S013 Black Hawk- Horrible! Rather light, spins uncontrollably, fragile
Syma S013 Apache- See S013 Black Hawk assessment. (buddy bought this a single to join the entertaining: nothing but regrets)
Heard the S108G Cobra is decent as well but have not tried it. My deployment to Iraq is pretty much over, so I in all probability won't be purchasing any alot more toys.

What a distinction a gyro makes! Extraordinary...I tried 1 of the 1st gen micro R/C copters (no gyro on those) not extended following they came out, and discovered them to be tremendously troublesome to control and not substantially fun since of it.
This generation with the gyro is just incredible though...SO stable, SO hassle-free - but not boring. There is still a mastering curve for total R/C noobies that will make this a good 1st R/C copter, but I look at it just about like a challenge...trying to master this little beast is Entertaining!
This also basically looks like a true helicopter, compared to the ones I purchased previously, which looked like....nicely like R/C copters - absolutely unrealistic.
The LED lights are great so you can fly at night (my youngsters Appreciate that - the dog...not so considerably), and the thing even appears to behave like a true helicopter, with ground impact and having to decrease speed (thrust?) to tilt forward (I am no pilot or physicist, but I do know that the previous models I tried did not give me any sort of sense of "this issue FEELS like I am flying a real helicopter!")
Gonna cease now mainly because I sound like I operate for the provider (not even sure who the enterprise is basically, but whoever it is, they sorely will need an English native to write the English portion of the instruction manual!)
Can't advise this enough. Hassle-free uncomplicated five stars.
FYI if you are interested in modding your Syma (specifically, the low-priced, easy and awesome tail rotor mod that makes it faster and much more agile), you need to get the model that looks like the R/C copter (107G I think). Found this out the tough way, but I still choose this one for the looks. Video of the mod results: [...]
