To start, I only paid $8 for this tiny rc helicopter.
This is only a two channel helicopter, which means that you can manage the throttle up and down, and steering to some degree, but significantly more on that later.
I put this helicopter through the ringer, with some aid from my 4 year old daughter (and her nerf guns). It held up fairly nicely just before going k-put right after about a month. I flew it about with my daughter trying to shoot it down with her nerf guns, with considerably success I will add (and she got help from her grandfather's shooting).
It is a speedy flying tiny heli that has somewhat touchy, somewhat unresponsive, somewhat iffy steering. It can only be charged from the controller, which eats into the AA batteries, but it does charge its tiny LiPo battery decently quickly, in around 30-40 minutes. Flight time is excellent, at about ten minutes. Durability is quite fine, especially thinking about the fact that the body of the helicopter is foam, and most of the trim pieces are paper. Sounds negative, but works fine in use. If this helicopter is treated reasonably well, it would final a long time. 1 concern is that foam physique, as if you have to repair or replace something (such as a battery) you'll probably ruin the heli when you take it apart.
