Customer Critiques

I ordered this helicopter along with 3 other helicopters. 3 from Syma and a single off brand helicopter. I ordered various helicopters mainly because the only ones I have flown have been 2 channel and if one particular broke I would have backup. I ordered the Syma S107 and S105 at the exact same time, and the S107 arrived initially and the S105 arrived the subsequent day. On my frist flight of the S107 I was suprised how stable and smooth the flight was. The box says 14 and up but I consider any person could manage this helicopter. It goes up, down, left, perfect, forward, and backwards, all at a balanced speed thats wonderful for indoor flight. It is not also slow to be boring or too fast that you cannot controll it. The trim button on the controller is fairly substantially not required for the reason that it does not spin out of control. I nonetheless havnt adjusted the trim soon after about 20 flights. Also, both Syma helicopters are Really durable due to the fact they are created of metal and difficult plastic. The blades are also durable. There are some differences in the S107 and S105. The S105 is slightly wider and slightly longer. It also has two LED lights on every single side and 1 in the front, a total of 6, which can be cool or annoying, it just depends on preference. The s107 has a single light on the front. The S105 appears to spin out way more than the S107 and is additional tough to trim. This is an apparent flaw that was addressed with the newer S107, for the reason that it does not spin out at all. They both can be charged with the controller or by means of a USB port on your laptop which is really good if you do not want to waste your batteries on your controller. They each use 6 AA batteries in the controller. Each helicopters are exceptionally durable and have been crashed numerous times. My only complaint with them is the flight time is only around 5 minutes, despite the fact that I don't have something to compare it to for the reason that the other two helicopters I ordered are nonetheless not here but soon after about a week and a half. Also, the only selection for shipping is normal shipping. General I would recommend the S107 over the S105 because of the trim issue with the S105, but each are remarkable helicopters and they are a incredibly fantastic cost.

The Syma S107 is so uncomplicated to control that on my very first flight I had it tour my whole apartment, zooming in and out of closets and under no circumstances touching an obstacle till I deliberately landed it. If you've never ever flown a good RC heli before, you could possibly want to practice a bit. It could be your second or third flight just before you get that beneficial.
The S107 is honestly that easy to control.
I am positive that a lot of of you have played with Air Hogs and other micro helis and you extended for a small heli that just plain flies where you want it to fly and stays up in the air. I'm right here to tell you that such perfection is inside your grasp.
Ahead of I got my S107, I currently owned two Syma S105s and I never ever get tired of flying them. They look pretty much identical to the S107 and the remote is identical, but they take a tiny bit of ability to fly with precision and I've made tiny tweaks right here and there to get greater control.
The S107 takes almost no skill to fly. They gyro tends to make it laughably simple and easy to manage. Just use it indoors, get it about four feet off the ground so that ground-effects don't mess with it, fly it a decent distance from air conditioning vents and the factor moves like it is hanging from a string on a stick.
That perfection is, maybe, its one significant flaw.
The issue is, I assume the S105 is a bit alot more fun to play with. The S105 demands careful trimming at the beginning of every single flight. The S105 tends to make broad turns, but pulls out sharply, risking blade-strikes, unexpected changes in path and the occasional crash. It's extremely effortless to fly the S105, but even so every single time that I fly one I develop extra skillful with it.
The S107 just plain functions. It goes exactly where I point it.
I created 1 tiny modify to my S107, taping a paperclip to the front to assist it move forward extra easily. That is the sum of all modifications that I created to mine. I can't discover anything else to tweak. That is great. It really is astounding. It's a fun issue to play with and the feeling of exhilaration endures even immediately after a number of flights.
I heartily advise this heli.
...But if you want a related heli that is similarly amazing however introduces a smidgen of challenge to every single flight, take into account the S105 as well.
